Michel Lenoir
51-year-old Michel LENOIR is considered to be one of the most astute trainers in France.
He began his career at a very early age and won his first race aged just 14 driving the sulky of PIPO II.
Since that moment Lenoir has been constantly among the best trainers, jockeys and drivers.
At the end of summer 1999 he reached the landmark of 1000 mounted victories and a few months later he achieved the feat of 2000 wins under both codes combined.
Some of his most important wins are:
REINE DU CORTA : Prix de Cornulier in 1990, Centaures (1989), Normandie (1988), Elites (1988), de France de 1989 to 1991.
UNO ATOUT : Prix de Cornulier in 1995.
DRAGA : Prix de Belgique in 2000.
IDEAL DE L'ITON : Prix des Centaures in 2001, Président de la République (2000).
HUTIN TEBE : Prix de Cornulier 2002.
Michel LENOIR also trained CAPITOLE to finish 2nd and 3rd in the Prix d'Amérique in 1997 and 1998.
